Super Star Rajinikanth’s upcoming flick Kabali, which was slated to hit the theaters in April 2016, but the movie has been postponed and the release date is yet to be finalized.
According to the reports, Rajinikanth himself had requested the filmmakers to postpone the movie for a while. However, the makers of Kabali have revealed that they have decided to postpone the movie due to the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
Releasing a movie during the time of elections might just affect the collections at the box office which is the reason, Kabali will be releasing after the elections. An official confirmation about the same is still awaited. Kabali features Radhika Apte as leading lady in the movie being helmed by Pa Ranjith.
