Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film is most likely going to be directed by Krishna Vamsi and the line was okayed by Balakrishna sometime back. The final touches are being put to the script right now, along with a full dialogue version.
Tentatively titled Rythu Rajyam, this movie is said to have a farmer agitation theme and Balakrishna is quite interested about the subject. A final narration is reportedly pending and once this is okayed, a formal announcement will be out.
The subject is sure to strike a chord with the masses as most Telugu families have a farming background and the problems being faced by farmers are well known. Krishna Vamsi is looking to wrap up the project in 4 – 5 months and if possible, target a Dussehra release. In case there is a slight delay, the film will hit the screens as a Sankranthi offering.
Other details about the cast and crew will be announced once Balakrishna gives his final approval to the script.
