Actors Performance:
Nani attempts to impress with his trademark vigor and body language. In spite of his usual guy-next-door image, he plays a routine commercial role with punches, punch dialogues, songs and dances and of course with an extra dosage of all that.
The debutante heroine Meheren Kaur is decent in her role. Whenever she pops out on the screen, flames it with her beautiful presence.Prudhvi’s combination with Nani is the meat in the film. Absolute fun! Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj are good in their respective roles. The other cast including Brahmaji and other did justice to their roles.
Analysis:
Taking the name of Hanu Raghavapudi, we need to say this is a clean love and family entertainer. Now talking about the film, Hanu scores good with his interesting hero characterization that has got ample scope for comedy. And secondly he’s got a cast like Nani, Meherene and Murali Sharma in the lead roles. Adding to it is the sparkling chemistry of refreshing pair Nani & Meheren. The comedy between Murali Sharma and comedian Prudhvi will tickle your funny bones.
Nani, Meheren, Prudhvi and Murali Sharma carry the film upon their shoulders rightly assisted by Brahmaji and Sampath Raj. Hanu had got his first half as a rollicking fun ride with the love story progressing simultaneously. There comes in the much predictable yet convincing pre-interval episode. While the second half is predominantly confusion drama that did evoke laughter. However, extended second half and climax are the worth mentioning negative aspects of the film. On a whole, there is good comedy quotient in the film that makes the audiences ignore the flaws and enjoy the film. The production values are apt and the canvas looks more colorful in song and dance sequences.
Plus Points:
- Extra-ordinary performance of the lead cast.
- Interesting characterization of Nani
- The comedy between Nani, Brahmaji.
- The romantic track between Nani and Meheren.
- Engaging screenplay with comedy throughout the film.
- Good songs and background score.
- Clean comedy that the family audience could enjoy.
Minus Points:
- Fragile conflict point
- Extended second half
- Routine and weak climax
Verdict:
On the whole, Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha is a decent watch and Nani scores yet another hit at the box office. Watch this film for Nani’s acting talents, cute romance between lead pair and Hanu Raghavapudi’s interesting direction.
