Superstar Rajinikanth’s forthcoming gangster drama Kabali completed its shoot a few days ago. The post production work is currently underway in Chennai. The film,a Ranjith Pa directional, features Radhika Apte as the female lead. Rajinikanth will be seen in dual roles in the film and a considerable part of shoot happened in Malaysia and Goa.
Initially, the makers had planned to release the film in mid Summer. But, the latest update from Tamil media revealed that Kabali will hit the screens in June. It is learnt that the forthcoming assembly elections in Tamil Nadu are the reason for the postponement.
The audio launch will be held in May and the makers are planning to release the first look teaser in April.Santosh Narayanan is the music composer and Kalaipuli S Thanu is the film’s producer.
