It is already a known fact that the genius filmmaker Shankar will team up with Rajinikanth for the sequel to the super hit science fiction action thriller Robot. As per the latest updates, the makers have completed all the pre-production works of this film.
According to an official statement, the makers have confirmed that the film will be launched tomorrow on the eve of Rajinikanth’s 65th birthday. It is learnt the launch will be a low key affair. Rajinikanth already requested his fans and family members to stay away from the celebrations due to the heartbreak caused by the floods in and around Chennai.
The regular shooting will commence from December 16th and it is heard that Shankar is planning to shoot the film around globe. Amy Jackson will play the film’s leading lady and the remaining cast is yet to be announced. Baahubali fame VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan will design the visual effects and AR Rahman will score the soundtrack.
