Even before the project went on floors, NTR’s Janatha Garage is creating a huge buzz in the trade circles. The pre release business is quite solid in all areas. Director Koratala Siva has managed a casting coup of sorts with the inclusion of legendary actor Mohan Lal , yesteryear actress Devayani and young Mallu actor Unni Mukunda in crucial roles.
According to the latest buzz, a leading distribution company in Kerala has offered a whopping 4.2 Crores for the Malayalam rights of this film. This is a record price for any Telugu film so far. It is believed that the presence of Mohan Lal has turned out to be a huge advantage for the makers as the film has already garnered huge prominence in Kerala as well.
Mohan Lal will be playing NTR’s uncle in the film and the regular shooting will commence in a few days. Crucial part of the film will be shot in Mumbai. Samantha and Nitya Menon are the female leads in the film. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the tunes and Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film.
