It is a common culture to bestow titles to star heroes and that becomes more like a surname to them. Each star hero has got his own title like that and one among them is Kamal Haasan. From a long time, he has been called as the Universal Star in English and Ulaganayagan in Tamil.
Recently, Kamal added one more title to his name as he was officially bestowed with the title of Chevalier de L’Ordre Arts et Lettres (The Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters). Prior to him only the Tamil legend Sivaji Ganesan got this prestigious title.
While that may be so, Kamal’s dear buddy Style Samrat Rajnikanth came up with his own title. He congratulated Kamal on Twitter and mentioned he is this generation’s Nadigar Thilagam. This title was actually given to Sivaji Ganesan. We have to see how many will adopt this new title then.
